St. Andrew’s Day Celebrations

Celebrating Scotland’s national day in Dublin.

Marking St. Andrew’s Day in Ireland, the Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism, and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop MSP and John Webster, Head of the Scottish Innovation and Investment Hub in Ireland, hosted a reception in the RDS on Thursday 30th November. Over 100 invited guests enjoyed Scottish food, drinks, and traditional music from the excellent group ‘Kilda’.

Earlier, a small reception was held in the Embassy to greet the Cabinet Secretary and the gathering was addressed by John Webster.

Pathfinder is delighted to have been represented at this event. With offices in both Dublin and Edinburgh, we are particularly interested in growing and strengthening ties between Scotland and Ireland. It was a very pleasant evening and we hope this will be the first of many future celebrations of Scottish culture here in Ireland.
