Pathfinder was engaged to implement Workday, a HR management system, into the organisation. The implementation was across 14 countries, 3 companies (2 service based, 1 manufacturing based), and involved over 7,500 staff.

Pathfinder was asked to manage the pharmaceutical company’s staff and the system integrator, Kainos, for the global programme.

The main benefit of this implementation is that our client has a global HR system. This enables the company to manage its large workforce more efficiently and it also allows the business to gather data on its staff in each country and unit with ease. Previously, this information took days to gather. Implementation of this application has eliminated a significant organisational risk and they now have the infrastructure to initiate improvement programmes. Other benefits envisaged are productivity improvements, legacy system decommissioning, improvement in quality and attrition rates.
