Pathfinder attend Government launch of the new International Financial Services Strategy (IFS 20:20). Launched by Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Pathfinder is particularly delighted to note the inclusion’s of the BPO Cluster in the Government launch of the new International Financial Services Strategy (IFS 20:20). The Cluster , An Enterprise Ireland initiative recently branded Crios Group, is facilitated by Karl Llewellyn, Commercial Partner at Pathfinder, on behave of the members.
Launched by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Tánsaiste Joan Burton and Minister of State for international banking Simon Harris the strategy represents a new action-oriented approach to growing and developing the IFS grounded in an action plan for jobs model. A goal of 10,000 new jobs is declared.
Action 28 reads;
‘Analyse the financial services capabilities of the BPO Cluster in Ireland through high level group and recommend actions to develop the Int. Financial services capability of the BPO sector including a proposed framework of engagement with the banking industry.’
The target completion date for this action is quarter three 2015, impressively prompt. In a critical political time, praise needs to be given to Minister Harris for such a clear and precise action strategy. We watch with considerable interest how many of the 30 actions with documented outputs are achieved within their predetermined timeframe.
