17 Apr 2018 14:00

Our very own Kevin Coakley will be taking part in a 700km cycle in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.

From the 30th May to the 3rd June, Kevin Coakley a Partner at Pathfinder will be completing a 700km cycle along with members of the South Dublin GAA Club, Kilmacud Croke’s to raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.

Malin to Mizen head is an end-to-end cycle that begins at the most northerly point of Ireland and runs down the west coast of Ireland taking in much of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer affecting women in Ireland and every year over 3,100 women are diagnosed with the disease.

Breast Cancer Ireland is a registered charity established to raise significant funding to support pioneering research programmes nationally as well as to promote education and awareness on the importance of breast health amongst women of all ages.

The number of breast cancer survivors are increasing, with 83% of those with a breast cancer diagnosis now living 5 years and beyond.

All funds raised on the Every Day Hero site go directly to Breast Cancer Ireland, any donations big or small are greatly appreciated (see link below).
